In Touch sure knows how to take something completely innocent and stir up some drama out of it!
The gossip rag recently published a story about how Katie Couric’s ex-boyfriend Chris Botti allegedly slammed the star during an interview he did with the New York Post. In Touch reports that Botti didn’t have many nice things to say about Katie’s engagement to John Molner, while taking some serious jabs at Katie’s “cougar” reputation.
A source close to Couric tells us that the magazine story is “complete nonsense,” which led us to do a little more digging ourselves.
After tracking down original article, we learned that Chris Botti had only nice things to say about his former flame, including, “Katie is one of the nicest people in the world, and we’ve remained good friends, and I am absolutely thrilled for her,” he told The Post.
