Country legend Dolly Parton was rushed to the hospital following a car accident in Nashville Monday.
But the 67-year-old was the passenger in an SUV in which she was riding was struck by a car at an intersection.
The vehicle was driven by Dolly’s longtime friend Judy Ogle. It was stuck when a 64-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi failed to yield at the intersection, causing the vehicles to collide shortly before noon local time.
Nashville Police tell Extreme Entertainment that Ogle and Parton were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment and released.
She let her Twitter followers know “I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good… Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!”
Thank goodness. Dolly is a national TREASURE.
