DeadMau5 doesn’t hold anything back!
The DJ was nomination for Best Canadian Act in the MTV European Music Awards–something most artists would be honored by–but not Mau5!
The world famous DJ is picking a bone with one of the world’s biggest television networks after they tweeted him the nomination news on Sunday.
“Meh. Can I somehow opt out of this? @mtvema,” the 32-year-old progressive-house music producer replied.
But the tweets didnt stop there, Mau5 continues, “mtv fuckin blows anyway. its just TV now. who gives a fuck. i don’t. some other people still do i guess. f*ckit”…”success 2 me isn’t ballwashing with a bunch of no talent f*ckhead pop kids. It’s being able 2 making music and performing for ya.”
He added, “what? the same network regurgitates completely manufactured acts, shows about pregnant teens, and twits from jersey shore. im so honored!”
The Canadian star, however, wants to assure his fans that he is far from ungrateful, tweeting, “ungrateful? no. I’m sitting here in the studio you guys helped me build making music for you. i can’t tell you how grateful i am for that.”
