Bruce, 63, loves nothing better than to escape the pressures of reality television and his strained relationship with Kris, 57, than to head off to a remote field and fly his mini-choppers.
A source told Extreme Entertainment: “Bruce loves his toy helicopters and he is an amazing pilot. He has around five in different colors and he loves cleaning and maintaining them before taking them out flying, it is his way of escaping.
“The guy can even fly them upside down by changing the pitch of the rotors, he is that skilled.
“These helicopters are his pride and joy and they can cost as much as $1000 each – he even has a battery powered one because it is more environmentally – friendly there is no way he would want to give them-up.”
The couple are now living apart after 22 years of marriage and it does not look like they are going to reconcile although Bruce has been spotted out and about in Malibu wearing his wedding ring.
