Katie Cassidy shows off her wrist tattoos in this new feature from Icon magazine’s Men’s Issue 2013.
The 27-year-old Arrow actress opened up about going into the “family business”, her character Laurel and new website, TomboyKC.com.
On advice from her father, David: “‘Don’t ever stop going to class’. That’s where my brain is — in the learning aspect of it all, and I haven’t missed class yet. As long as I do this, I will be going to class and trying to evolve and definitely continue to work hard.”
On the evolution of Laurel: “She obviously knows how to fight, her father is a cop, but all we know right now is that she can defend herself and kick some a–. I don’t know if she thinks violence is the best way to deal with things, but there is a journey she is going to go on to become the Black Canary.”
On her new blog: “It’s all about myself, my lifestyle and interests. I want to interact and share ideas. I’m on the road a lot and travel quite often, but I’m obsessed with fashion. I think that we should be allowed to wear whatever we want, whether it’s in or not. I’m all about expressing myself and seeing people express themselves in different ways.”
