Arcade Fire opened the first YouTube Music Awards on Sunday with a “live” music video for “Afterlife.”
Starring Greta Gerwig and directed by Spike Jonze, the segment moved from an apartment setting to a forest and finally to the stage itself, where a group of young dancers joined Gerwig and the band.
