Matt Lauer’s “Baywatch” Halloween costume has left the nation scarred.
In an effort to overcome the trauma, some late night hosts mocked the “Today Show” anchor’s Pamela Anderson getup on Thursday.

On the “Colbert Report,” Stephen Colbert quipped, “Halloween died when Matt Lauer dressed up as my waking nightmare.”
The host added, “I look forward to their next segment: ‘Where in the World Is Matt Lauer’s dignity?” riffing on Lauer’s popular “Today Show” travel segment.
Jimmy Fallon also ragged on Lauer’s costume, joking on “Late Night,” “I just figured out ‘Where in the World’ Matt Lauer is… My nightmares.”
