Mick Jagger is going to be a great-grandfather.
The Rolling Stones frontman’s daughter Jade told The Sunday Times that her 21-year-old daughter Assisi – Jagger’s granddaughter — is set to give birth in a few months.
And Assisi told Hello! that when she informed her 70-year-old grandfather about her pregnancy, he responded, “Well done.”
“I imagine it’s nice to be a great-granddad,” she told the mag, adding, “although I’m not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one. I call him Mick — I wouldn’t start calling him grandpa.”
Not that being a great-grandfather has slowed down the legendary rocker. Jagger and the rest of the Stones are slated to tour Australia in 2014.
