Miley Cyrus makes a statement with her outfit while attending the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards held at the Ziggo Dome on Sunday (November 10) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The 20-year-old singer wore a dress that said “Please Stop Violence” and featured the faces of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, two rappers who were the victims of violence at a young age.
Miley‘s statement comes at time when the issue of gun violence is very relevant in the news after two separate shootings in the New York/New Jersey area within the last week.
On a lighter note, Miley is set to perform her song “Wrecking Ball” during the show this evening.
