Rob Ford Defends Himself In Wild Jimmy Kimmel Live Interview

Rob Ford was a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, and the talk show host didn’t hold back on the crack-smoking, gaffe-prone Toronto mayor.

Kimmel began by reading to Ford how Toronto citizens were upset that he was appearing on the ABC show, with some people taking to social media to call the mayor a “drunk, racist, homophobe,” with an “inability to the tell truth.”

“Is that all you got?” replied Ford, who defended his record as a fiscally responsible mayor, and explained his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” as a way to entice “people to come to Toronto.”
Kimmel then showed a series of photos comparing clean-cut L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti to the out-of-control Ford.

Next, the talk show host had Ford stand in front of a TV screen, and asked him to comment on a number of the embarrassing videos that have gone viral.

After Ford touted in a later segment how he’s been “responsible with the the taxpayers money for 14 years” and has a ”proven track record of success,” Kimmel kindly suggested to the profusely sweating Toronto mayor that there’s no shame in getting help for drinking and drug problems.
