Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga are NOT leading separate lives, despite an off-base and seemingly made-up report.
Extreme Entertainment confirmsexclusively with the singer’s rep that the allegations are untrue.
On Monday, RadarOnline posted a story that notes Hudson and Otunga have been together for six years, but have yet to marry, before asking whether their engagement is over.
Not surprisingly, the webloid failed to answer its own question, but instead claimed Hudson and Otunga have been “leading separate lives for months.”
The only evidence RadarOnline provided to support its premise was a timeline of when the pair has and hasn’t been spotted together in public over the past year.
So, because Otunga hasn’t been on Hudson’s arm at every single event, RadarOnline determined there must be trouble in paradise.
But, for good measure, the outlet pulled aHollywoodLife at the end by asking its readers, “Do you think Jennifer and David are done?”
That’s some solid “reporting” right there.
Of course, actual journalists investigate — and that’s exactly what Extreme Entertainment did.
And here’s what’s really going on.
Last week, Hudson appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show,” where she spoke about being hesitant to walk down the aisle because she only wants to do it once in her life.
“The [engagement] ring is still there. We willget married one day,” Hudson said, going on to point out that Otunga now even wears a ring of his own to symbolize their commitment (see video below).
But because Hudson said she wants to be “completely sure” before tying the knot, RadarOnline apparently felt that was enough to ignore all her other comments and conclude she and Otunga are having issues.
It’s just not true.
A rep for Hudson tells Extreme Entertainment exclusivelythat RadarOnline’s story is “completely false.”
