Justin Bieber: I’m Choosing To “Let My Light Shine” (PHOTO)

Justin Bieber is awfully introspective lately. After making a video message to fans and doing two interviews with Ellen DeGeneres in which he promised to be a better person, the star is now sharing some inspirational writing. See photo below.
Bieber took to Twitter and Instagram on Sunday to post an image of what appears to be the Golden Gate bridge with some text he wrote over it. “Life isn’t about having fun, it’s about being fulfilled,” it reads. “What’s more fun then [sic] knowing your purpose and being encouraged because you went the extra mile to help someone else.”
Bieber’s message continues, “We all have a light; are we going to let it shine or mask it with unfulfilling things? I choose to let my light shine!” On Twitter, he posted the picture with the tweet, “Who are you gonna encourage? #iwrotethis #mythoughts” On Instagram, however, he acknowledged his grammatical error with “then,” adding the hashtags, “#than #spellingmistake.”
Spelling aside, the message is right in line with Bieber’s other recent comments, particularly those in the video he recorded for fans last month. As Extreme Entertainment reported, the singer acknowledged, “I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there.”
“I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I’m not that person to say, ‘I don’t give a f*ck,’ you know? I’m not that kid,” Bieber went on. “I’m a person that genuinely cares, and although what’s happened in the past has happened, I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft.” What do you think of all of Bieber’s comments lately?
