Robert Pattinson did not want to star in Fifty Shades of Grey with Kristen Stewart, despite a new made-up story. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively debunk this nonsense. The rumor comes from a site that not only knows nothing about Pattinson and Stewart, but also appears to know very little about Fifty Shades of Grey.
The new bogus claim was made by the highly unreliable Celeb Dirty Laundry. The webloid says in its headline that “Pattinson Wanted Fifty Shades of Grey With Kristen Stewart,” but does not back up its assertion with any proof whatsoever. The rest of its post is a collection of gibberish, including a line that says, Pattinson “knows far too much about this franchise.” That’s completely wrong as well. As Extreme Entertainment reported on Friday, the handsome actor said in a recent interview, “I haven’t actually read the book [“Fifty Shades of Grey”], but I think it must be very, very different” from the Twilight films.
And while it’s true that Fifty Shades of Grey was inspired by the Twilight movies, Extreme Entertainment has it on good authority that Pattinson never wanted to star in the erotic, bondage-themed movie nor did he ever think it would be a good film for him and Stewart to do together. Anyone claiming otherwise is either ill-informed or lying. There was one rumor that the novel’s author E L James wanted Pattinson, which is an entirely different story, but that too was unconfirmed.
Regardless, this tale about Pattinson wanting to star in Fifty Shades of Grey with Stewart joins the legion of other recently fabricated stories by the webloid, including Stewart wanting to take time off from acting to have Pattinson’s baby and the equally absurd report that Pattinson was told by Stewart to dump FKA Twigs. Like Fifty Shades of Grey, much of Celeb Dirty Laundry is painful fiction.
