Carly Rae Jepsen “I Really Like You” Video: Tom Hanks Lip Syncs, Justin Bieber Dances

Carly Rae Jepsen’s new “I Really Like You” music video features Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber. It’s definitely not your typical pop music video. Watch below!
We see Hanks get up in the morning, get ready for the day, walk down the sidewalk, and take a selfie with fans, all the while lip-syncing to Jepsen’s upbeat song. Then he gets into a cab and starts texting emoji back and forth with the singer. Hanks walks down the street again, waving to admirers, avoiding paparazzi, and continuing to lip-sync.
All of a sudden, Jepsen herself is there. Hanks turns to her and jokes that he’s “pregnant.” Then the duo is outside with a whole dance crew, showing off their moves, when Bieber shows up! The Biebs! Jepsen’s old pal! The video ends with the three stars jubilantly dancing in the street.
Making Hanks the star of the video is an unconventional move, but it works pretty well. The Oscar winner and Jepsen were both at Scooter Braun’s wedding last summer and hit it off. When Jepsen was trying to think of an offbeat idea for the “I Really Like You” video, she and Braun wondered if it would be interesting to have a man “sing” the lyrics. Hanks volunteered. The rest is history. Watch the video below!
