You may never see a “Wheel of Fortune” fail as cringeworthy as this one. On a recent episode, the contestant had to guess the names of the seven dwarfs from the classic Disney version of Snow White. Almost all of the letters were there. It did not go well. Watch the video below.
The puzzle solution, of course, was “Dopey, Grumpy, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Sneezy and Sleepy.” But the woman either had a momentary lapse or simply doesn’t know the fairy tale, because she guessed… “Sneeky.” Not “Sleepy.” “Sneeky.” With two E’s. Yikes.
Pat Sajak was not impressed. The next contestant, unsurprisingly, solved the puzzle immediately. And the world was left with this brutal viral video showing a “Wheel of Fortune” contestant coming oh-so-close and choking. It practically writes its own “dopey” headline, but Extreme Entertainment resisted the temptation.
