The cast of “Pretty Little Liars” sat down for an interview on “The View” on Tuesday to discuss the winter premiere, which will air Tuesday night on Freeform. Watch below!
The chat began with Raven-Symone expressing incredulity that it took six and a half seasons to find out who Big A was. That occurred on the summer finale last August, and now the midseason premiere will pick up five years later with a new Uber A. Shay Mitchell (Emily) noted, “Our show has been a mystery ever since we started, and there’s so many surprises that the fans get to watch.”
As for the time jump, Troian Bellisario (Spencer) offered, “I think it’s going to be really fun for our fans. When you first saw the show, you got to meet these girls, you got to find out over the course of the six seasons a lot about their lives, and now that five years have passed, it’s like they have whole new lives, whole new secrets.”
Ashley Benson (Hanna) was revealed to be the on-set prankster, and everyone marveled at how Sasha Pieterse (Alison) was only 12 when she started filming the pilot. “This has been such an amazing experience, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say this is a chapter of our lives that we will definitely cherish,” she told Candace Cameron Bure.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, the cast started the day on “GMA,” and Hale went on to do “Live With Kelly And Michael,” where she willingly ate bugs. Check out full video from “The View” below!
