Fifth Harmony held a special Memorial Day concert on Monday’s “Today.” Watch below!
Lauren, Normani, Dinah, Camilla, and Ally took over Rockefeller Plaza outside the “Today” studio for a live show that was broadcast on the morning program as part of its Citi Concert Series. With many people off from work and schools closed, hundreds of fans showed up to watch in person. Among those in the audience were a number of service members.
And some rain didn’t stop the girls from putting on a solid set. They sang oldies (“Worth It” and “Boss”) and newbies (“All In My Head”), and even surprised fans by bringing out Ty Dolla $ign for “Work From Home.” In one amusing moment inside the studio, they also taught “Today” guest co-host John Cena how to pop his booty.
The event doubled as a celebration of Fifth Harmony’s new album, 7/27. The record just came out on Friday, and will inspire performances on the group’s upcoming “7/27 Tour.” The run of concerts is slated to kick off at the end of June and go through early September.
As Extreme Entertainment reported at the time, Fifth Harmony also held a summer concert on “Today” last July. The show’s Citi Concert Series will continue this Friday with Luke Bryan. Check out the new videos below!
