Caitlyn Jenner’s friends are begging her to take a break from plastic surgeries? That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids. Extreme Entertainment investigated and has learned what’s real and what’s rumor.
According to the repeatedly discredited OK!, “Jenner’s latest round of facial feminization procedures has those close to her worried that she’s on the road to looking freaky.” The tabloid alleges Jenner’s “obsession has become a danger to her physical and mental health.” Not surprisingly, the magazine doesn’t explain how it has become a “danger.”
Instead, the publication rather vaguely writes, “The transgender star was seen over Memorial Day weekend with a noticeably puffier face, inflated lips and feline eyes, prompting some in her circle to label it a ‘disaster.'” Not once does the magazine say where Jenner was supposedly “seen,” nor does it explain why it’s reporting this uncorroborated tale nearly a month later. A skeptic might argue it’s because it’s untrue and never happened.
Still, the magazine quotes a so-called “source” as saying in very expository language, “Everyone is begging her to take a break from all the painful surgeries and the fillers. But Cait is a perfectionist, and every week she comes up with a new tweak she thinks her face or body needs.” “In the past six months alone, she’s spent close to $100,000 on nips and tuck. There’s no end in sight, and it’s a real problem,” adds the unnamed source.
Interestingly, one could say every week the tabloid comes up with a new tale about Jenner. In the past several months alone, the magazine has wrongly reported about her, and there seems to be no end in sight for that either. Among the false OK! stories Extreme Entertainment has busted are that Jenner is “falling in love” with her friend Candis Cayne. Extreme Entertainment also corrected the tabloid when it untruthfully claimed she was doing a “nude coffee table book.”
Additionally, we exposed the magazine when it inaccurately stated she was “crushing” on her male driver, as well as alleged she’s in constant “pain” from her plastic surgery procedures. The one common denominator all those stories have is that OK! was wrong. And that remains the same now. A rep for Jenner exclusively tells Extreme Entertainment the magazine’s claim that her friends are begging to cut down on plastic surgery, and that she’s constantly tweaking her appearance, is 100 percent “false.”
