Calvin Harris was not caught sexting a photo of his penis, despite a report that’s both late and wrong. Extreme Entertainment can reveal what’s really going on.
Last week, RadarOnline outrageously claimed Harris sent a “dick pic” to an unnamed female music executive. The widely-discredited webloid further alleged to have seen the face-less picture, and speculated as to whether it played a role in his breakup from Taylor Swift. Extreme Entertainment, however, was exclusively told the allegations were a “total lie.”
Now sister outlet Star is regurgitating the debunked claims in Wednesday’s new edition. “The Truth Behind Their Split: Inside Calvin’s Sexting Scandal,” reads the headline. Mimicking RadarOnline’s language, the tabloid writes, “Someone’s trying to sell an x-rated photo — that Star has seen — of a man’s privates, which allegedly belong to the Scottish DJ.”
The piece goes on, “While the exact timing of Taylor and Calvin’s breakup isn’t clear, the seller insists the ‘Open Wide’ jockey sent the crotch shot to a female music executive while the musicians were still dating.” To recap: Star purports to know the “truth behind” Swift and Harris’ split, but actually has no idea if this supposed nude photo was the catalyst, or if something else caused the breakup.
And the tabloid asserts that Harris is in a “sexting scandal,” but doesn’t know for sure whether the alleged photo in question is, in fact, of Harris. Really, the only thing this story has locked down is that Swift and Harris have indeed parted ways. It’s also abundantly clear that Star merely copied from RadarOnline, and has nothing original or legitimate to add.
But the denial from Harris’ camp still stands. Extreme Entertainment is told there was no sexting of an “x-rated photo” during his relationship with Swift. Star is simply, and embarrassingly, late and wrong.
