Madonna performed on a special episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday. Watch the video below!
Madonna was selected to be the only guest alongside President Obama, who was making his first appearance on “The Tonight Show” since Fallon became the host in early 2014. Madonna herself previously appeared on the late-night program in April of last year. As Extreme Entertainment reported at the time, she tried her hand at stand-up comedy, did “Holiday” with classroom instruments, and also performed “Bitch I’m Madonna” with Diplo.
This time, the singer dove into the archives and picked “Borderline” for her performance. The 1984 hit from her self-titled debut album helped put Madonna on the map. Since then, she has amassed 13 studio albums, a whopping 83 singles, and seven Grammys.
But Extreme Entertainment has a good feeling this “Tonight Show” appearance will go down as one of the music legend’s favorite moments of all time. The episode actually taped on Wednesday, and after meeting the President, Madonna posted on Instagram, “For Once I’m Speechless………..President Obama.” She added in another photo with the Commander-in-Chief, “A meeting of the Leo’s! A Cosmic Convergence!!”
No word yet, though, what Obama thought of Madonna’s performance. Check out the video below of Madonna on the “Tonight Show.”
