Angelina Jolie is NOT making “secret calls” to her “lesbian lover” after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, despite a sensational report. Extreme Entertainment can bust the story.
“Brad Betrayed! Angelina’s Secret Phone Calls To Lesbian Lover EXPOSED,”RadarOnline blares in a headline. The accompanying story says, “Is Angelina Jolie switching teams again? As her marriage to Brad Pitt implodes, RadarOnline.com has learned that she’s already called her lesbian lover, Jenny Shimizu!”
Jolie and Shimizu dated about 20 years year ago. Now two decades later, a so-called “source close to Jolie” is quoted as telling the webloid, “Angelina called Jenny this week to let her know what was going on and she told her that she wants to be a good mother to her kids.” It’s only more than halfway through the piece that the site acknowledges that Shimizu is married, and “Jolie and Shimizu [are] just friends.”
It’s even said Jolie is “reaching out” to other pals, too. In other words, the outlet pulled a bait-and-switch. They set up the story to make it seem like Jolie was rekindling a romance with a female ex immediately in the wake of her split from Pitt. In actuality, it’s merely being said that the actress is informing a friend about what’s going on in her life.
There’s nothing scandalous or secretive about that. Pitt hasn’t been “betrayed, nor is Jolie engaging with a current “lesbian lover.” And, frankly, Extreme Entertainment doubts a “source close to Jolie” is talking to an outlet like RadarOnline at this time. In fact, Extreme Entertainment is told the article is actually “outrageous,” as well as “insensitive” to all involved.
