Vanilla Ice and partner Witney Carson did a cha cha to his own hit “Ice Ice Baby” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” premiere. Watch the video below.
Before his performance, Vanilla Ice admitted he knew nothing about “Dancing With The Stars.” He also was not happy that the song chosen for him to dance to was “Ice Ice Baby.” Vanilla Ice said there was more pressure on him to do well because it was his song.
Len Goodman felt, “I liked watching that dance.” He called the rhythm “terrific,” but felt there “wasn’t enough cha cha cha.” Julianne Hough expressed, “You’re an awesome dancer,” but she also said she wanted to see “more content.” And Bruno Tonioli exclaimed, “You still got it.” He added that as far as an overall performance, it was “excellent.”

Since his days in the music business, Vanilla Ice has been involved in real estate. He currently hosts “The Vanilla Ice Project,” a home renovation show on the DIY Network. Last year, the rapper ran into trouble with the law when he allegedly burglarized a house and stole a pool heater and some furniture. He dance his way out of a jail sentence after striking a plea deal that included restitution and community service.
