Jennifer Lopez Dishes On Working With Ex-Husband Marc Anthony

Jennifer Lopez visited the ‘Today’ show today to talk about ‘American Idol’ and her new reality TV show, ‘Q’Viva: The Chosen.’ It turned into talking about her ex, Marc Anthony.

“Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years. And we always loved each other and we always worked together. So it wasn’t an unnatural thing for us to continue to work together. And we have children together. So he’s always going to be in my life. It has its difficult moments,” but they are committed to the show.

Then Matt Lauer asked her about her comments when Jennifer said she loved herself enough to walk away from her marriage. Jennifer’s reply?

“Matt! I’m going to kill you right now. Why do you have to bring it up!”

“Can you explain that a little bit more?” he said.

“No! I can’t!” she answered, laughing. “Because everything I wanted to say about the divorce I said in that article, and Marc and I agreed we weren’t going to talk about it publicly again because it really is our personal life. … At the end of the day, like I said, we’re working together, we have a lot of love for each other and we’re human. It’s not the easiest thing in the world but I think we handle it with a lot of grace and a lot of caring and a lot of love.”
