They bicker like brother and sister on The Voice, so it only makes sense that Christina Aguilera would tease Adam Levine for creating his own fragrance line.
"What a difference a year makes! Welcome to the fragrance family," a cheeky Aguilera, 31, tweeted Friday, linking to a tweet Levine penned on March 5, 2011.
At the time, Levine wrote: "I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward."
Levine, 32, has clearly changed his tune -- 222 by Adam Levine will hit shelves in May 2013. The "Moves Like Jagger" singer's scent will be available in both men's and women's varieties.
"Adam is a performer with tremendous charisma, both on stage and on TV," ID Perfumes chairman and C.E.O. Ilia Lekach said in a statement. "Endeavoring to capture that in a bottle has thus far been very exciting and we're certain the final products will be even more so."
