The Bachelorette Recap: Who Got Roses, Who Got Sent Home (VIDEO)

“The Bachelorette” Emily Maynard sent three men home on Sunday, but more about that in a bit.
During the show, she went on two one-on-one dates, and a big group date.

First off was a solo date withChris.
To get to their dinner date destination, the two put on harnesses, and scarily climbed up a Charlotte, North Carolina building, where a table for two was set up for them on the roof.
While “The Bachelorette” was concerned that the 25-year-old corporate sales director may be too young for her, he convinced her that he’s at the “right point” in his life — and earned a rose.
They finished their date by dancing in an empty parking lot, where country star Luke Bryanperformed just for them.
Next was a group date with most of the remaining guys at a nearby park.
But there were a couple of twists.
Maynard brought four of her best friends to grill the guys individually about a variety of subjects, including why they signed on to the show and whether they could see themselves as dads.
And then “The Bachelorette” told the men who said they’d be OK with children to “put your money where your mouth is,” and unleashed dozens of kids to play with them in the park.
After the group date, though, Tony – himself a father — had too tough a time being away from his kid, and Maynard sent him home by graciously saying, “I want you to be with your son.”
For her second one-on-one date, Maynard took race car driver Arie to one of her favorite places, Dollywood in Tennessee, where Dolly Parton surprised “The Bachelorette” by performing a song she had written for her and her date.
Arie impressed Maynard by his desire to settle down, having seriously dated a woman with two kids.
He too walked away with a rose.
Maynard then said to the camera, “I feel like I finally found [the right guy], and I don’t want to screw it up.”
When Alessandro told Maynard — during one of several mini-chats with the men — that he viewed raising her child as “a compromise,” he was quickly shown to a waiting car.
With Tony and Alessandro gone, that left 11 men — 10 of whom would received a rose.
The third (and last) guy of the night to be sent home was…
SPOILER ALERT
Stevie, a party MC.
