Justin Bieberrecently received his GED, and to mark the milestone, Ellen DeGeneres threw him a surprise high school graduation on Wednesday’s “Ellen,” complete with cap and gown.

DeGeneres first noted “how important [his] hair is” to him, so she had a special cap designed that hovered just above his sculpted ’do.
The talk-show host then told Bieber how “proud” she is of him and his accomplishments before presenting the singer with his diploma.
A beaming Bieber held up his diploma — and even said a few words.
Earlier in the show, the superstar announced to the shrieking girls and women in the audience that he was going on tour.
