Philip Seymour Hoffman has officially been cast asPlutarch Heavensbee in The Hunger Gamessequel, Catching Fire.
Heavensbee takes over as Head Gamemaker in the second installment of the series, after Seneca Craneis executed for having been outsmarted by Katniss Everdeen.
Catching Fire is set to begin filming this fall.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Jena Malone is said to have been offered the role of Johanna Mason in the second installment of the franchise.
