Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is setting the record straight in response to an erroneous report regarding her daughter’s First Holy Communion.
On Tuesday, a false report surfaced claiming that Antonia Gorga’s First Communion was a Bravo TV shoot that was sponsored by various vendors.
RumorFix can confirm that filming for season 5 of RHONJ actually wrapped up weeks ago and Melissa has now come out swinging at Reality Tea via Twitter. ”No, my party was not filmed by Bravo or had anything given,” says Gorga.
The report also suggested that Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, who’s daughter Gabriella also received her First Communion, held competing receptions.
RumorFix can also confirm that the Gorgas and the Giudices both belong to the same church and the two girls received their communion together on Saturday.
While Teresa had a small celebration following the ceremony, Melissa opted for a more lavish affair at The Brownstone which is owned by fellow RHONJ star Caroline Manzo and her husband.
“We wished we could have been at each others, but it’s just the way it worked out,” add Melissa.
