Amanda Bynes has had a dramatic few days, including an arrest for allegedly throwing a bong out of a 36th story window, temporary hospitalization in a mental ward and a bizarre court appearance.
And on top of all that, she accused the NYPD of sexually assaulting her during her arrest last Thursday night. She tweeted that the arresting officer “slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal.”
But New York’s finest says her claims are about as real as the fright wig she wore to court.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne told RumorFix. “NYPD Internal Affairs investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes’s allegations. To the contrary, a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time.”
