Ted Dwane of Mumford & Sons Rushed to Hospital For Blood Clot on Brain

Ted Dwane of Mumford & Sons was rushed to the hospital on Monday for emergency treatment of a blood clot on his brain.
The band issued a statement on its website explaining the situation.
“Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment,” announced the group.
The statement continued, “The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.”
This week’s shows in Dallas, Woodlands, and New Orleans will be rescheduled.
