Britney Spears Gives Props To Miley Cyrus’ Controversial VMA Performance

Britney Spears is the queen of memorable MTV Video Music Awards performances.  She’s gyrated with a python to Slave 4 U, wore a flesh colored two-piece while dancing the hell of out Oops I Did It Again and famously kissed Madonna.

So what does the queen of the VMA’s think of Miley Cyrus’ much discussed performance at this year’s awards ceremony?

She told Good Morning America Tuesday that “anytime you do a performance that memorable you’re going to have criticism” adding that Miley’s “doing her thing, being herself.  I give props to her.”
