Mister Cee Says ‘There’s No Beef’ After Dramatic Resignation

One of New York’s most popular DJs has resigned amid a scandal that he tried to solicit a drag queen for sex.
Mister Cee said on Hot 97 Wednesday morning, “Today, September 11, 2013 will be my last time to be on the air at Hot 97.”

In the last two years, the radio personality was arrested three times for allegedly soliciting male or female prostitutes and on Wednesday a drag queen posted a YouTube video alleging that Mister Cee offered him $100 for sex.
“It’s not a mystery the past two years I’ve been through a lot,” he said.  The 47-year-old admitted, “I have tried to rise above these situations, unfortunately every time I try to move forward, I take two steps backs and I’m hurting the people that are closest to me, which is my Hot 97 family.”
The DJ, who has been on the radio station for 20 years, says it was a hard decision to walk away. “I live, breathe, sleep radio. The last thing I want to do is hurt the Hot 97 family, so I have decided — not management — me Mister Cee — I have decided it’s time for me to move on.”
Hot 97 issued a statement saying, “We feel that this is in the best interest of both HOT 97 and Cee’s personal well-being. While we do not endorse the alleged activities, he is clearly facing a personal dilemma that is for him and only him to comment on.”
The DJ who worked with Biggie Smalls and Big Daddy Kane says, “There’s no beef. I have no problem with nobody at Hot 97.”
He added, “I am good. I am safe. I am happy. I am blessed.” He ended with, “I must say goodbye … for now .. for now.”
Here’s the video from drag queen Bimbo Winehouse, where he provides an audio recording of Cee allegedly offering $100 for a sex act.
