Kate Beckinsale Reflects on Going from Oxford to Hollywood!

Kate Beckinsale is stunning on the cover of C magazine’s November 2013 issue, on newsstands now!

Here’s what the 40-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On if she thought she’d be where she is today: “If you’d asked me when I was at Oxford, ‘Do you think you’ll ever be running up and down holding a machine gun as a bad guy in a big American movie?’ I would have said, ‘God, no!’”

On being a parent: “As a parent, you are never off the hook. Never. It’s a full time job. I mean, how many times do I call my mother. Stricken with something going, ‘Help! Help!’ And I’m very old to be doing these things.”

On having a teenager Lily in the house:“Len was initially a bit alarmed. I think teenage girls are a little frightening to dads, but he’s usually in the thick of it. And if he’s not, he’s one of those brilliant people who doesn’t mind when they find him in his man cave and tease him mercilessly. There is nothing nicer than six of seven screeching girls having a great time in your house.”
