He may be Hollywood royalty but John Travolta hasn’t lost the common touch.
The popular star took time to mingle with locals inside a trailer park in Revere outside Boston while he was filming his new movie The Forger.
And despite the fact the blue collar locals inhabit a totally different world to the wealthy superstar he went out of his way to make new friends.
An insider told Extreme Entertainment:”John couldn’t have been nicer. It was a rough part of the world but he took his time to speak with the locals and pose for photographs and chat freely.
“A couple of the crew were nervous about filming inside the trailer park but John made a lot of friends and the production went off without a hitch.”
The movie has also been shot recently at a local Denny’s restaurant and EconoLodge in nearby Danvers where Travolta was spotted talking to local police officers.
In his latest role he plays a second generation petty thief, Ray Cutter, who arranges to get out of prison to spend time with his ailing son Will (Tye Sheridan) by taking on a job with his him to pay back the syndicate that arranged for his release.
The movie also stars Oscar winner Christopher Plumber.
