If anyone deserves a peaceful birthday then it’s Glee star Lea Michele.
And after losing her former co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith to a drugs overdose last year it seems that her life is back on track.
Lea turned, 28, on Friday and she celebrated with an intimate party with some of her closest girlfriends.
The actress and singer posted an image of herself blowing out some candles on a tasty looking birthday cake via her Instagram.
Her caption read: “A very Happy Birthday… (heart) (cake) (balloon).”
For her bash Lea wore a plunging dark dress with light make-up and her hair in curls.
The actress hired chef Claire Thomas to cater the party and there was no sign of her boyfriend, Matthew Paetz, as Lea enjoyed a ‘girls night’ with her closest friends.
