A fake rumor making the rounds claims LeBron James is set to make Space Jam 2.
On Monday, a phony poster showing the Miami Heat superstar alongside Bugs Bunny (see up) accelerated the speculation, leading “Space Jam 2″ to trend on Twitter.
It’s not real.
The hoax seems to be the result of some wishful thinking by fans after James casually expressed interest in doing a follow-up to the 1996 Michael Jordan classic in August 2012 and October 2013 Twitter question-and-answer sessions.
According to the fake poster, Warner Bros. will put out a James-starring Space Jam 2 in 2014.
Don’t hold your breath.
