Paul Walker Death: Porsche Car May Have Malfunctioned

The car that Paul Walker and his good friend Roger Rodas died in on Saturday afternoon (November 30) may have crashed due to mechanical failure, according to TMZ.

Sources that are connected to Always Evolving, the auto shop co-owned by the pair, tell the site that they saw evidence “of a fluid burst and subsequent fluid trail before the skid marks at the accident scene.”

Because there were no skid marks until just before the crash site and also because the fire spread so quickly in the front of the car, it points to the theory that there was a fluid leak of some sort.

The auto shop also never modified the $500,000 Porsche Carrera GT and it was rarely driven, so the sources believe it must be a factory defect. They also say it is “preposterous” that Roger could have lost control of the car as he was “a world class driver.”
