Melissa Rivers issued a statement on Sunday about her mother Joan Rivers, saying, “We are keeping our fingers crossed.”
As Extreme Entertainment reported, the legendary comedienne is on life support.
The 81-year-old Rivers has been in a medically induced coma since Thursday, when she was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after going into cardiac arrest.
This is the first statement from Rivers’ daughter since Friday when she termed hermother’s condition as “serious.”
Mount Sinai Hospital did not release an update on Sunday on Rivers’ health.
Like so many stars, Extreme Entertainment, who has known Rivers for the past two decades, has her in our thoughts and prayers.
