Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were NOT separated before marrying, despite a false report, Extreme Entertainment can confirm.
As Extreme Entertainment previously reported, the longtime coupletied the knot in Italy earlier this month in front of family and friends.
Everyone seems to be happy for them — except the National Enquirer.
Last month, the supermarket tabloid wrongly claimed that Harris “walked out” on Burtka, with the relationship supposedly on a “time out.”
Extreme Entertainment was the first to debunk the allegations, and the actor himself later tweeted it was false, too (see below).
That left the Enquirer in quite a pickle when Harris and Burtka wed just a few weeks later.
And that’s how we get to the magazine’s new“let’s cover our butts!” article, which claims Harris “realized he couldn’t live without” Burtka, “so they got married!”
The Enquirer says Harris only reunited with Burtka after supposedly realizing “he had made a big mistake,” with a tabloid “source” saying, “It’s all been turned around.”
No, it hasn’t — because there was no issue in the first place.
Harris and Burtka were NEVER separated.
This is just another story, like the first one, that belongs in the trash heap.
