Gone Girl Won’t Vanish From Top Of Box Office: Another Projected #1 Finish

Gone Girl won’t disappear from the top of the box office.
The missing wife mystery-thriller is expected to win its second straight weekend, with early estimates putting the Ben Affleck-Rosamund Pike film at approximately $26 million.
Dracula Untold is projected to open in second place with $20 million or so, ahead of another debut: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day ($18 million).
Scary doll movie Annabelle ($16 million) should edge The Judge ($14 million) for fourth place.
The Equalizer is on pace for $9 million and the #6 spot.
Seventh place is coming down to a fight between The Maze Runner and Addicted, both of which are tracking toward about $7.5 million.
The #9 spot should belong to The Boxtrolls($6 million).
Left Behind and Meet the Mormons are battling for tenth place.
