Lady Gaga is revealing the significance behind her spectacular engagement ring given to her by Taylor Kinney and Extreme Entertainment has the scoop for you.
The pop star Instagrammed the backside of the bauble designed by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.
She explained, “My favorite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed “T<3 S” in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I’m such a happy bride-to-be! I can’t stop smiling!!”
All you little Monsters already know this, but this is for the rest of us, Gaga’s real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.
Lorraine, who also designed engagement rings for Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, told InStyle, “The stone is big and quite beautiful, and actually more expensive than some of the estimates I have read.” And because she’s a discrete jeweler Lorraine won’t reveal the price of the diamond rock.
But she added, “It’s a challenge to get an excellent heart shape with perfections—the shoulders of the gem have to be totally symmetrical; Lady Gaga’s is all that.”
The “Born This Way” singer and the Chicago Fire star got engaged on Valentine’s Day. They’ve been dating since early 2012.
