Robert Pattinson supported FKA Twigs at Wednesday’s BRIT Awards, where she was up for two awards. Check out the photos below!
As Extreme Entertainment reported, the annual awards show is essentially the British equivalent of the Grammys, with stars ranging from Ed Sheeran and One Direction to Beyoncé and Taylor Swift among the nominees. Twigs performed at the nominations launch party last month, singing a mash-up of her tracks “Hide” and “Pendulum.” The performance followed the news that she had received two nominations of her own, for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Unfortunately, at Wednesday’s ceremony held at the O2 Arena, it was revealed Twigs lost both categories. British Female Solo Artist went to Paloma Faith, while Sam Smith won British Breakout Act. Nevertheless, Twigs appeared to have a great time at the event and one of the after-parties. Dressed in a cut-out top that left little to the imagination, Twigs walked the red carpet solo, but was otherwise accompanied by Pattinson.
The actor flew from Los Angeles to London on Tuesday in order to attend the event with his girlfriend the next day. In a group photo shared on Instagram by Twigs’ record label Young Turks (see below), both stars are all smiles as Pattinson stands behind the singer in the venue, with his hand lightly touching her waist. They later attended the Warner Music BRIT Awards After Party held at Freemasons Hall, where the couple was photographed smiling and laughing together. At the end of the night, Pattinson held Twigs’ hand as he led the way to their car.
