Drake appears to have a new love interest. The rapper has been spotted getting veryclose with model Bernice Burgos while poolside in Perth, Australia. Pictures of the duo’s PDA went viral on Tuesday, sparking a lot of speculation. In the shots, Drake is seen cradling Burgos in his arms, nuzzling her, and generally looking like more than just a platonic pal.
Drake and Burgos have been hanging out intermittently for a few years, having both appeared in the Rick Ross “Diced Pineapples” music video in 2012. In Drake’s verse on Romeo Santos’ track “Odio,” Drake refers to Burgos and another model, Yaris Sanchez, singing, “You look like you drawn by an artist / No, you, you look like Bernice and Yaris / But both put together, those are some girls that I know from back home.” Burgos seems to be based in the New York area, a long way from Perth.
One potential sticking point for the (possible) new couple? Drake is a hardcore Toronto Raptors fan, and Burgos appears to be throwing her support behind (get it? butt!) the Brooklyn Nets (at least judging by the, um, striking recent Instagram photo below).
