Tom Hanks found a lost ID card belonging to a Fordham University student named Lauren, and tweeted a photo of the ID along with a personalized message to let the girl know that he has it. See the photo below!
Along with a picture of the Fordham ID, featuring the girl’s headshot, Hanks tweeted, “Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx.”
Hanks presumably found the card somewhere in New York City, where Fordham is located. Just a few months ago, the actor himself lost his credit card on the streets of New York, and a good samaritan who found the card was nice enough to contact Hanks via Twitter and inform him.
At the time, Hanks later tweeted, “A guy named Tony found my credit card on the street in NYC and returned it! Tony! You make this city even greater! Thanx. HANX.” It would appear the actor is now repaying the favor forward, not to mention maintaining his reputation as one of the nicest movie stars in the world.
