Last September, RadarOnline published a ridiculous story speculating that Jenner and Cayne were “secretly married.” Extreme Entertainment exclusively busted the nonsense. The two “I Am Cait” stars weren’t even dating, much less secret spouses.
Then this past February, the webloid claimed Jenner and Cayne were “caught kissing” at a beauty salon.Extreme Entertainment exclusively debunked that report, too. There was no public makeout session.
But RadarOnline has repeatedly led readers to believe Jenner and Cayne are a couple. That is until today. A headline on the site dramatically reads, “Secret Split? Candis Cayne Reveals She Hasn’t Seen Caitlyn In Weeks!”
Of course, you can’t split from someone you were never dating. But it’s only after readers click onto the article that the full picture becomes clear. Cayne explains she and Jenner haven’t seen each other much lately since “I Am Cait” isn’t filming and they’ve each been traveling for separate appearances.
And Cayne point-blank refutes the outlet’s own relationship claims. “We are not together! We are only friends. We are really good friends,” says the transgender actress. Of course, that’s what Extreme Entertainment has been saying from day one.
RadarOnline is only now flip-flopping because it someone how managed to talk to Cayne herself. And yet the site still doesn’t reveal the truth until first baiting readers into thinking there was some kind of breakup. The tactics aren’t surprising, but they are still shameful.
