Dierks Bentley performed an outdoor concert on Friday’s “Today.” Check out the video below!
The country star performed “Somewhere On A Beach,” “I Hold On,” and “Freedom” for the “Citi Concert Series.” Throngs of fans packed Rockefeller Plaza, just outside the morning show’s studio in New York City, to watch in person. Such concerts will continue all summer long, with Fifth Harmony and Luke Bryan both doing sets next week.
Bentley is in the midst of a media blitz supporting the release of his new album Black, which dropped on Friday. On Thursday, he appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” and on Saturday he’s slated to be on CMT’s “Instant Jam” and co-host CMT’s “Hot 20 Countdown.” Also this week, Bentley released a new song, “Different For Girls,” which features Elle King, as his next single.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, last month Bentley co-hosted the 2016 ACMs with Luke Bryan, where they both jokingly attempted to take credit for Chris Stapleton’s skyrocketing career during the show’s opening. Later in the ceremony, he performed “Somewhere On A Beach,” and was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year. His new album is likely to lead to more nominations next time around. Watch Bentley’s “Today” performances below!
