Gwen Stefani’s music video for “Misery” won’t be out until next week, but she shared the first teaser on Thursday. Watch below!
“Misery” is the third single from Stefani’s recent album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Despite high-profile performances of the track on “Saturday Night Live” and “The Voice,” it’s yet to crack the Billboard Hot 100. But that could now that it was sent to radio this week.
The upcoming music video, which will drop in full next Tuesday, follows two other clips for the album. The “Used To Love You” video, released last year, had a mournful Stefani singing right into a camera. And for “Make Me Like You,” the star actually filmed the music video in conjunction with a live broadcast during the Grammys, as Extreme Entertainment reported in February.
Now the first look at the “Misery” clip shows Stefani going glam and embracing high fashion with a long gown adorned with black feathers. Two male dancers also appear in snazzy suits. And while in one scene it looks like the singer is in living room, another appears to be set on an elevator loft.
The song, which was inspired by Stefani’s relationship with Blake Shelton, will for sure be featured on her upcoming summer tour. The No Doubt front woman also asked fans on Wednesday night, “What songs do u want to hear on tour? #Makingthesetlist #ThisIsWhatTheTruthFeelsLike #wantutoloveit Gx.” For now, though, hopefully they’ll love the “Misery” video preview. Check it out below!
