Victoria Beckham did NOT hire a team of young social media experts to help shed her supposedly “miserable” persona and make her appear “cool,” despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “incorrect.”
According to Star, Beckham is trying to stay relevant by promoting herself as a “cool mom” on social media, and has employed “hip Millennials” to oversee her various accounts. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Posh has always hated that people think she’s so serious and miserable. She feels like she is fun and has a great sense of humor.”
The tabloid’s dubious insider further claims Beckham is determined to amass as many followers as such famous social media users as Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, adding, “She’s loving coming up with ridiculous post ideas with her creative team.”
But Extreme Entertainment checked in with a rep for Beckham, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s claim is both “incorrect” and “weird.” We’re further told the fashion mogul personally controls her online accounts and isn’t scheming to appear “cool.” Beckham’s rep adds, “Anyone who knows Victoria tells of her brilliant self-deprecating sense of humor, and that has been portrayed since she joined social media a few years ago.”
Of course, we’re not particularly surprised by the tabloids false claim about Beckham. Star is the same tabloid Extreme Entertainment debunked for alleging the former Spice Girl has a “snotty attitude” toward the other parents at her kids’ school. The magazine’s latest attempt to attack Beckham’s character is equally baseless.
