According to OK!, Spears felt she needed cosmetic work done for her appearance at the awards show. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “The buzz is she got some injectables shortly before the awards so she would look her absolute best.” The magazine’s dubious insider adds, “She’s been working so hard to get back in shape and revamp her image, and this was the final step.”
But Extreme Entertainment checked in with a very reliable source close to Spears, who assures us the singer didn’t get Botox injections in advance of the Billboard Awards. We’re exclusively told the tabloid’s claim is simply “false.”
Unfortunately, we’re not particularly shocked by the tabloid’s tall tale. Extreme Entertainment has repeatedly corrected OK! for its many inaccurate reports about Spears. We recently debunked the magazine’s phony claim that the singer was considering starring on a reality show that would focus on her life as a working mom. And shortly before that fabrication,Extreme Entertainment busted the tabloid for alleging that Spears’ dad had banned her from dating. This Botox claim is simply more nonsense from the unreliable outlet
