Carrie Underwood “Church Bells” CMT Music Awards Video: Watch Performance!

Carrie Underwood performed “Church Bells” at the 2016 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday. Watch below!
As Extreme Entertainment has reported, “Church Bells” is the current single from Underwood’s Storyteller album. As the third track released from the record in the U.S., it follows previous singles “Smoke Break” and “Heartbeat.” “Smoke Break” was actually the album’s lead single, and came out last August.
And that’s the song that earned Underwood three nominations for tonight’s CMT Awards. “Smoke Break” was nominated for Female Video of the Year, Performance of the Year, and Video of the Year. That last one is the top honor, and an award Underwood has won for the last four years.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, though, there was some drama with that category and Blake Shelton last month. During an appearance on CMT, Shelton joked that fans shouldn’t vote for “Smoke Break” because it promotes smoking. Though he was only kidding about that, many viewers took his comment as a diss against Underwood.
The “American Idol” winner’s fans then criticized Shelton on social media, and encouraged fellow Underwood supporters to keep voting online for her to win. At the end of the ceremony, we’ll see how it all turned out. In the meantime, check out video of Underwood’s “Church Bells” performance below!
